How to use the result
Fix the top three
Work down the list in order. The first fixes carry the most points, and a direct first sentence under each question matters most.
Grade it again
Paste the revised copy and aim for 80 or higher. Then tune the title and description in the Search Preview tool.
Mark up the answers

Frequently asked
What is answer readiness?
Answer readiness is how easily an AI assistant can pull a correct, self contained answer from your page. Pages that score well ask the question in a heading, answer it in the first sentence, use specific facts and name the business and place clearly. Learn more in our guides.
How is the score calculated?
The grader checks five areas: a direct answer near the question (25 points), structure such as question headings and lists (20), readability including grade level and sentence length (20), specificity, meaning numbers and few hedge words (20), and entity signals like your business name, city and phone (15).
Does the grader send my text anywhere?
No. Every calculation runs in your browser and nothing is uploaded. Your last text is saved in this browser only. Share links put the text after the # sign in the address, which browsers never send to a server, and long texts are not put in links at all.
What reading grade should I aim for?
Aim for grade 6 to 9 for most service and product pages. Short sentences and common words are easier for people to scan and easier for AI models to quote without changing the meaning. Technical pages can run higher, but keep the first answer simple.
Why are hedge words a problem?
Words like may, might, possibly and generally make a claim hard to quote with confidence. Assistants prefer sources that state facts plainly, such as a price range, a time frame or a clear yes or no. Keep a hedge only when the uncertainty is real, and then say what it depends on.
What should I do after I fix the copy?
